Culinary Night In: Bridging Campuses and Continents
One February evening, in a collaborative effort of the USPA of Shaker and Hunting Valley, US families, faculty, and staff had some wonderful experiences together, including devouring a delicious chef-prepared meal, enjoying a guided wine tasting with a sommelier, and taking a nighttime tour of a neighborhood in Seville Spain, all without leaving home.
This educational food and wine tasting event celebrating the food and culture of Southern Spain was the second of such events, the first celebrated the food and wine of Italy the previous year. Like many pandemic-related innovations in making connections, this one was a positive and exciting shared experience for the US Community.
