University School welcomed Michele Borba, author of Thrivers:The Surprising Reasons Why Some Kids Struggle and Others Shine, for the 8th Annual Dr. Ethan D. Schafer Memorial Lecture on May 1.

A dynamic speaker, Dr. Borba shared her work in the presentation: "Thrivers: Parenting Tips and Tools to Help Kids Thrive in An Uncertain World." In this thought-provoking session, she shared seven traits that science shows matter most in happiness and success to help kids thrive both now and in the future.
