Danforth Scholars Finalist

University School senior Devin Daugherty has been named a finalist for the Danforth Scholars Program at Washington University in St Louis, one of the most esteemed scholarship programs in the country.

Devin is among nearly 40 finalists chosen from this year's nomination class. Each year the Danforth Scholars Programs puts out a call for nominations to high school guidance counselors across the nation. Since its inception, more than 30,000 students have been nominated and from that group approximately 480 have been selected as finalists.

Devin will join the other finalists at Washington University in late March for the final selection weekend.

The Danforth Scholars Program honors the student who embraces high ideals, whose life choices are guided by personal integrity, selflessness, a commitment to community, and a dedication to leadership and academic excellence.
