Student's Work Published

The editors of DePaul’s Blue Book: Best American High School Writing 2023 announced the acceptance of “Jambalaya” by Gabriel Ewen ’25 to be published in its anthology in May 2024.

Additionally, the following students were selected as finalists:

Aidan Moll '25 for "Drown" and "Bottoms Up"
Will Outcalt '24 for "A Walk in Saint Andrews" and "The Setting Sun"
Jason Klautky '25 for "Point Blank"
Laurence Myers-Bailey '23 for "In Dire Days"

While these students’ pieces won’t be published in the anthology, their names and the titles of their works will be acknowledged in the finalists' section of the book.  

DePaul's Blue Book is an anthology published by DePaul University featuring the best writing and photography from high school students from across the United States.
