Boyce Award for Student Innovation

The Boyce Award for Student Innovation is awarded annually to a Lower or Middle School student who identifies a problem and, using the resources of the STEAMworks, builds a solution to that problem. The winning project or projects must demonstrate significant innovation, craftsmanship, and/or entrepreneurship.

This year, after a judging review, Benjamin Kessler '34 was selected as the winner. His design of a tool truck combined utility with skilled design. It even had a working head and taillights! Tied for second place were Zakary Newill '31 for his programmable robot parrot and Maxwell Carfagna '33 for his golf analytics caddy-mounted camera.
